CLINICAL NUTRITION

This department includes nutrition assessment, planning and research of 

• Cardiac nutritional status after PTCA, CABG. Conducting educational programmes on primary, secondary prevention on role of nutrition

• Cancer nutritional status assessment, management after chemotherapy, radiation and surgery

• Nutritional care before and after dialysis

• Nutritional assessment of patients who are on enteral and parenteral feeds

• Special therapeutic diets planned for diabetic, hypertension and other diseased conditions

Other Activities

• Conducting nutritional workshops for obesity, diabetes, occupational health, woman health, geriatrics

• Training and teaching of nutritional students

• Integrated sports nutrition planning with the help of sports medicine department
