The department was founded in the year 1989 August, with the inception of the hospital. Diagnostically Apollo Hospitals, dental department was the first corporate hospital dept., to have the ortho-pentamograph. The dept was the First to establish a state of the art infrastructure in the year 1989, in the state of AP.
