EYE & Check up

  The Normal Eye

The normal eye is like a ball with three layers. Cornea is the clear glass like structure in front of the eye that is circular; it appears black because of the dark curtain called iris behind it.

The innermost lining of the ball is the retina or the film of the eye. The middle layer is called the uvea. The outermost layer is the sclera, the strong white wall of the eye.

The lens in front focuses all pictures onto the film or retina. This image is than carried from the retina to the brain by the optic nerve

  Complete Eye Checkup:

In this era of technology, changing environmental conditions, pollution, changing lifestyles a regular eye check up is essential to detect any eye related diseases and prevent progression. The eye checkup at our clinic is comprehensive and includes vision check, refraction, intra-ocular pressure measurement and retinal evaluation. This check up helps to detect uncorrected refractive errors raised intra-ocular pressure, degenerative retinal lesions, or a-symptomatic retinal holes etc.

A complete eye check should be a part of your health evaluation and should be done regularly.
