ASPIRE 2016 (Apollo Symposium on Pulmonary Interventions & Respiratory Excellence)

ASPIRE 2016 is the first annual event from the Apollo Department of Pulmonology & Interventional Pulmonology. This program aims to dissipate the knowledge & skills in the field of Interventional Pulmonary Medicine & Lung Transplantation to the residents, registrars & practicing pulmonologists in India and the South East Asian region.

Dear Friends and Colleagues

The knowledge of bronchology and interventional pulmonology has rapidly advanced over the past couple of decades. This has resulted in prompt diagnosis of many pulmonary diseases without surgery and also created various non-invasive treatment modalities. The up-to-date interventional pulmonology procedures are not fully practiced in various centres due to lack of training programs and also due to sophisticated and costly equipment. The day long symposium will provide the attendee with the most up-to-date knowledge from the world & nationally renowned speakers as well as hands-on practices from the workshop sessions. The sessions are well thought & designed to bene t the practicing pulmonologists, post graduate students & aspiring interventional pulmonologists.Knowledge of indications, management of complex diseases using advanced interventional pulmonology techniques and an understanding of the basics of lung transplantation will be key areas of focus.

On behalf of Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad, we would like to welcome participants from across the country & surrounding South-East Asian countries to participate in this unique and practically relevant conference.

We would like to proudly announce that one of the greatest advantages of attending this conference would be getting hands on training on Human Cadavers for a realistic experience.
